There was light
Somehow we were visited with sun, making the walking not such an ordeal. Some people stayed inside and caught several football games, which panicked the poor old cat, sending him to his quiet place deep under the bed. We can't figure out what causes this, the crowd noises seem to be the first trigger; strange and kind of pathetic.
Off for a small bite of sushi, after the sports fest ended; cold and starry night.

Our poor old kitty cat was sunning himself in his own fenced backyard, when a buffoon of a big dog broke through the fence and cornered him. The dog's human companion kept saying that he just wanted to play, except our kitty cat doesn't understand English, but does understand a big dog staring him in the face. I let loose a string of profanities, and the guy got the dog out of the yard. Now our kitty cat doesn't want to go out into his yard anymore. Old cats don't like loud noises or big dogs.
Well, until ours goes deaf, he's going to have to cope with a few sporty Saturdays! He's got us all managed, and needs a little pushback every once in a while...
