My young friend and I had to bail on our hiking/climbing plans; she and I headed over to climb indoors, which proved to be fun and pleasant. Later in the day, after walking around for errands, I felt suddenly defeated by the heat. Oddly, our nonegenarian seems to have acclimatized pretty well, probably due to not moving around so much.

I've been watching in horror as your temps have risen to 100 or thereabouts. I hope you and Mr. Perils are able to cope...and don't go out climbing in the heat, it's madness!
Geeze, just walking in this heat is taxing. We have this giant fan blowing through the bottom floor, and pretend we're in Hawaii...
Yikes. Hope things start to cool off soon.
