Unhand that tree
So many people seem to be whacking away at trees and shrubs, far too drastically for them to look good. "It'll grow back" appears to be the mantra of these inept pruners. One fellow was denuding his side yard, and the results were not good.
Mild sort of afternoon, and our final turkey dinner with remainders was consumed; all that's left are cranberries.

Funny you should mention this...we have a neighbor who has completely stripped his yard of lovely lush greenery and a fine hedge. Brought in a big dumpster to throw it all away. What a waste.
"...all that's left are cranberries... could easily be a line from a Thanksgiving haiku.
It's bad enough when they mutilate their own plants, but I've heard several tales of people mangling other people's stuff, when they weren't home to prevent it.
