Whip sawing
Welcome rain yesterday, but gloomy and bizarre; it's to brighten up again later in the week. Full day of mama care, hair maintenance, a climbing session, then on to the first concert band rehearsal, which was pretty much the highlight of it all. Came home jazzed up and despite my fumbling playing, eager to get on with the show.

A good start to September. What's the band and what do you play?
Tara D: It's Seattle's Rainbow City Band,and I picked up my B-flat clarinet after forty years hiatus. Belvoed spouse joined last year, and when I went to the after party for the spring concert, I was besieged by people telling me to join, so I did. It's both wonderful and terrifying. Go check their website, they're a sweet and swell bunch of folks of all stripes.
