Running out of reads

Not sure how this developed, but I seem to be without anything good to read. I did find another Iris Murdoch novel on our shelves - The Good Apprentice - but I don't think I'm in the mood for more of her elaborate psychological shenanigans. And I do not like Flaubert, who is on the menu for a book group. Sounds like a bookhunting trip is in order again.

Judging from your appetite in books, I think the problem may be this: you've read all the books...there's nothing left to read. Similar thing happened to a guy who was mocked by television commercials recently...he reached the end of the Internet after spending all his free time surfing the net. Solution: write a book about climbing.

I really don't like Iris Murdoch. Oof. I hated The Sea, The Sea. Dated, trite, contrived, obnoxious psychological shenanigans, indeed. I gave up on and gave away The Bell and A Severed Head. Blech.
