Not a bleary one
Despite a late night socializing; the couch potatoes were soaking up bowl games, and an extended hunting and gathering effort seemed to be in order. Strange variety of establishments closed today, but not the Co Op, where necessary supplies (maple butter) were obtained. Our son dropped by, and we walked out for a bit of something spicy to eat on a windy cold night.

Happy New Year.
Mmmm. Maple butter.
And a Happy New Year to you, too! Hey, have you tried maple butter yet? It has such an intense flavor, you don't need much of it on your morning toast to satisfy...
I would choose it as a food to have with me in an emergency, along with a bottle of vodka...

Ooo, man, maple butter. I am from its source, where we used to eat it right from the package and not bother with the bread.
And what establishment did you find spicy food at in W-Ford?
What a nice way to spend a New Year!
marclord, we went up to Greenwood Ave. to the Santa Fe Cafe for the spicy stuff.
Maple butter - The stuff I get comes from Shady Maple Farm, in Canada. And yeah, when people ask what to put it on, I usually say, oh, a spoon, your finger... amazing substance!
