So over it
Big schlepp this afternoon, around the lake to the co-op; then I walked back again, with more than forty pounds of food and other necessities in my two day backpack. Not anywhere near as fun and stimulating as it was carrying it up to the saddle campsite on the Grand Teton, and worse footing. More snow is due overnight, then melting and refreezing. Wish we could send all this snow up to the mountains, we'll need it next summer.

Good luck with the snow. I'll bet that 40 pounds of food, when it's all prepared and being eaten, will make the trek all worth it.
How big is that pack? How much snow could you carry up to Snoqualmie Pass?
Hope things clear up soon and the snow finally melts. A very merry Christmas-- safe, bright, and warm.
I hope those provision last until the weather lets up! Did you lay in some bubbly for New Years, just in case?
We're underway with the prep and consumption of those 40 lbs. The snow is melting way too slowly, and is now evil sludgy slush. I only carried home one bottle of a prosecco I have never tried, so don't know if it's any good or not...
