Clear skies in the morning

They lasted all day, and into the night, with an almost full moon appearing in a dark lavender sky; even buzzed people out in front of a nearby tavern were exclaiming over it as they took a break to smoke in the fresh cold air. We got in our walks, and the weekly hairdo for our nonegenarian, who was chipper and cheery, owing to the unusual amounts of sunshine she was imbibing. Even the mercurially-tempered family cat seemed happy, as he strolled along hunting for odors.
