Declining to decline
Well, not sure there's enough chocolate in the world to buoy people up lately. I'm tempted to rifle through that Advent calendar and up the dosage. When people tell you they feel old, ya gotta listen. There's solid evidence.

My kid has one-a those chocolate advent calendars from Trader Joe's. I noticed today (12/22) that all of the little doors are open. Hmm.
Our son goes to a German-language day care, so we have the Adventzkalendar. Buuuut, we had trouble explaining to our three-year old why he couldn't just open them all at once, so it's still up on top of the Thai chicken coop we use as a stereo cabinet where my wife put it out of reach. I guess we'll be taking it down tomorrow, so he can finally open them all at once. I will help.
