Everything is misty

It lay like a pall almost all day, except for a brief and beautiful span of time in late afternoon; the sun almost broke through, and it caused gorgeously subtle swathes of mist and sky over the lake. I had to go out on a dock to take it in, it was like a Turner painting. (English painter who did wonderful misty-looking canvases)
Hair do day was accomplished, and shaky walking; time for a sit down with chocolate truffles.
