Zooming past gloom

Or we do try; walks, talks, and tasty sushi did some good. Glad to see the end of January, looking forward to more sun next month. Early crocuses are breaking through the dank dark earth, which is too soggy to work without compacting it badly. The kids are taking off for a spot of climbing in a sunnier clime, and I do hope the break is restorative for them.
