Late-breaking pleasures

As in food and music, and walking with my beloved spouse; we had some dinner at a place featuring New Mexican cuisine, including a scrumptious blue and yellow corn posole, then a chilly but gorgeous sunset walk around the lake to a place that had a Brazilian jazz group playing at some point in the evening. We snacked on warm almonds and mixed olives and enjoyed the band. A sweet date.

Mmm. Posole. Sounds very tasty.

Is that New Mexican like from the state of New Mexico? Or from Mexico, only recently?

As in the state of New Mexico, kathyr. Blue corn tortillas, pretty danged hot red and green chile sauces, and some other items I think maybe they've taken creative license with to label them as being of that cuisine, like a goat cheese tart, but it's delicious, so I don't care how they got the name.
