Over da hump

Geeze, Don Imus is a skeevy, nasty male. I wonder how he'd like to be described in kind as he did so rudely to the Rutgers' women's basektball team, who are in fact contributing to this world in many ways, unlike Imus, who, as a whacky-haired sexist bigot, contributes mostly to himself. Time should be called for the declining males who call attention to themselves as he has.
On an infinitely more pleasant note, we were privileged to meet some blogging friends who were here in Seattle on errands. It was wonderful to talk to people you've come to know through their musings and observations. They are delightful in person as well.

I actually think Don Imus should have been given community service for a month, suspended without pay for the whole time. He is a skeevy, nasty male. Kind of like Phil Specter, only he hasn't killed anyone, yet. Firing him just maintains the tension between extremes. Still the guy is a jerk, and the lovely women he maligned deserve a very heartfelt apology. BTW, Hillary Clinton is going to Rutgers on monday. Why does that make me dislike her even more?

Thanks for such kind words. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and Phil too. We're looking forward to the next rendezvous over here on the peninsula.

Well, I think that the firings should continue, there are plenty more of these hatespewers out there. The aging good ole boys have had their day in the sun, and are now a bunch of wizened raisins to be thrown out for hog scraps.
Ah, Senator Hillary Clinton - well, it certainly is a female-related issue, and she's the only woman potential candidate. And Senator Barack Obama gets to participate, too, since it's a racist issue as well. Points up ho nasty things are going to get, on every front, I think.
Even my 89 year old sweet mother commented that Imus was "a mean old fart." This offshoot of the species' time is up.

Yes, I am, too.
