Up again
June 10 marks my dad's birthday; he would have been 92 today. My mother remembered the date and its significance, as well as his favorite cake. So I baked one, and we hoisted our frosting-coated forks in honor of Dad.

Here's to your dad's birthday! And here's to your mom for remembering the date and his favorite cake! I'm not sure my wife knows what my favorite cake is...I'm not even sure I know.
And leftovers for breakfast, with espresso...
mfm, I couldn't pick just one kind, although fruitcake is pretty much off the table for me. I do like a home made angelfood cake with chocolate ganache, however..
