Might be the gray skies and wind that make my mom lack energy. Or maybe just the vagueries of aging; we live in the present more, and yet it isn't retained. All bets are off.
I can't think of a single thing to say here. I was hoping to find some words of wisdom or encouragement to offer. I just sense how much you love and care.
I've been around since the birth of rock and roll. Went off to college to get a B.F.A. - married my high school sweetheart, love of my life, with whom I still live -
Had a wonderful son, who taught me to climb, after teaching me to be a mother - got a graduate degree in education, taught classroom, tutored the three R's, taught art to elementary kids - I hope to keep active as long as I can.

That's probably frustrating.
Although I have to say it sounds kind of oddly pleasant, too.

Uh.... pleasant, I guess, for the amnesiac; not for the caregiver.
