Molasses in April
A slow day, with glitches; the increments of decline are wearing. Done with Borges, essays too larded with philosophy and religion, seemed outmoded and pompous. I did like his flights into irreality, as he called it.
On to another novel by Australian writer Patrick White called Voss.
