Wetday
Drizzly, chilly, but we got a break later. A young friend who helped with yard and garden last year stopped by to say good by, as she's moving back to Montana; she said she couldn't take another Seattle winter. I think she didn't give it long enough, but if you're used to blue bird skies over snowy landscapes, this place is not ideal.

One of my cousins is thinking about moving to Seattle. I suggested that he go and spend a week in January, just to get a feel for those gray skies and the light.
That's a good suggestion, robin a. I think people often come here on a summer trip, see the area at its warmest and dryest, then decide to move. aFter 35 years, though, I like the gray breaks, although sometimes the winter ones are too long...
