It was a very wet Saturday here, and I can't remember the last time we saw the stars. Oh wait, tonight we'll see them walk down the red carpet at the Oscars! I hope Al Gore wins.
Robin A., if I didn't think it would ruin a good chunk of his life, I'd say I hope Gore entees the 2008 election horse race late. Are you going to watch the Oscar thang?
kathyr - Hmmm. Maybe that's why my mom hates windy days, too. She's so rarely grouchy she probably doesn't know how to deal with the feeling.
I've been around since the birth of rock and roll. Went off to college to get a B.F.A. - married my high school sweetheart, love of my life, with whom I still live -
Had a wonderful son, who taught me to climb, after teaching me to be a mother - got a graduate degree in education, taught classroom, tutored the three R's, taught art to elementary kids - I hope to keep active as long as I can.

I don't like windy weather. Makes me edgy. Grrrr.

Now that Gore has an Oscar, I hope he wins the Nobel Peace Prize and then announces his candidacy. My dream ticket: Gore/Obama 2008.
Howling wind gusts don't get old in my book, but a calm stary eve is always a blessing.
