Fine family feast with everyone in attendance; wild king salmon and halibut, our own new potatoes, fresh green beans, and assorted accompaniments, including plenty of Ethiopian items. Another great day.
Ha, mfm! Before I looked up your term "ptyalism", I thought it sounded like a made up word for drooling; lo and behold, it is an actual word for it! What have you been reading?!
KathyR - The spuds were wonderful, very crisp and sweet. You could grow some in a container, it's a nice-looking palnt with small white or purple flowers. Fun to harvest, too.
I've been around since the birth of rock and roll. Went off to college to get a B.F.A. - married my high school sweetheart, love of my life, with whom I still live -
Had a wonderful son, who taught me to climb, after teaching me to be a mother - got a graduate degree in education, taught classroom, tutored the three R's, taught art to elementary kids - I hope to keep active as long as I can.

Excuse my ptyalism, but you caused it with your mention of the items of the feast.
I have not had a home-grown potato since I was a little kid. Good?
