Teasing, advancing and retreating finally, lifting a veil from another wonderful fall day. We're sleepy round here, restless night, but the sunlight seems to rectify everything.
It's hot here. Global warming hot. Climate change hot. We throw the blankets off at night, open the windows as wide as they will go. The air is still. Eighty degrees on Nov. 3 and not a cloud in the sky.
I've been around since the birth of rock and roll. Went off to college to get a B.F.A. - married my high school sweetheart, love of my life, with whom I still live -
Had a wonderful son, who taught me to climb, after teaching me to be a mother - got a graduate degree in education, taught classroom, tutored the three R's, taught art to elementary kids - I hope to keep active as long as I can.

Yikes. Maybe that's okay for now, I hope it doesn't continue for very long.
