Farewells
Off they went in the relatively early morning; they packed up like trained pros and cooperatively piled into their car. I asked how the rest of spring break would be spent, and my sister said they'd probably be mourning the lack of wi fi at their house.
We were impressed at the way things are going for this suddenly expanded family, and hope it continues.

Sounds like you had a grand visit. I can't believe they don't have wi-fi at home! Why not? My brother lives in the hills of Virginia, and he still doesn't have DSL. He's finally starting to feel like he's missing out on something.
Robin, I don't know if it's an issue of access or budget. Or maybe child-rearing policy? I didn't ask when she told me this, but I am curious.
They sound like sweet kids.
What a houseful!
Yeah, kathyr, every so often I secretly wish for a ... what, extra wing? Outbuilding? We really don't have that much space inside or out, by my standards, although people will build over every fricking square foot of yard these days, in the name of "urban density."
Don't get me started.
The boys were wonderful, really.
