Bright and chilly middle
The days have been lovely to view, brisk to enter. Clambering back into fitness with friends who have been more deprived than I, and grappling with nightmarish domestic situations; can only hope my sympathetic ear helps. Set back a bit musically due to dental work, but guilt at missing some practice usually overcomes discomfort.
The snowdrops have been rampant for days, and the crocuses are supplanting them in cheerful clumps and scatterings. The few dumb daffodils on display will freeze in the next several days as we receive another arctic blast. As a new acquantance remarked last night, we'll be crying come June, wondering where spring is. Funny how you can get hornswoggled every season around here.

Glad to read that you've been out and clambering back into fitness.
Crazy weather here in California. No rain since late December. First we were happy to be out walking around in short-sleeved tee shirts. Now we're looking warily at an approaching dry summer. We may get some rain in the next few days, and we'll be wet and very happy!
Well, the clambering's been indoors, the real rocks are too cold for me!
Do you guys have some rain catching and storing capacity?
No rain water catchment system here, but we do have a very good and reliable well. It's raining now, and is supposed to be wet all week. Even some snow on Wednesday. Yay!!
Happy Valentine's Day.
